Maheshwarism / Maheshwaritva (Maheshwari tradition) is more than five thousand years old and the founder of Maheshwarism is Lord Shiva himself. The Maheshwari community was founded in Northern India (Rajasthan) in the 3133 BC by Lord Mahesha (Lord Shiva) and Goddess Parvati. Maheshwarism (Maheshwaritva) is a practical way of life. The day Mahesh Navami is the foundation day (origin day) of Maheshwari community which is known as Maheshwari Vanshotpatti Diwas or Maheshwari Utpatti Diwas.
